Judy Thompson Judy Thompson has spent over two decades working with organizations to create compensation strategies, tools and practices that promote company success. Since launching her consulting practice in 1993, she has consulted with clients ranging from early stage start-ups to large multinationals across many business sectors on a wide variety of compensation issues. With over 25 years in Human Resources Management and a specialty in compensation, Ms. Thompson has a proven track record in finding effective solutions to business issues.

Before opening her consulting practice, Ms. Thompson managed compensation, benefits, staffing and training in Silicon Valley high tech companies, including BT North America and Harris Corporation. Prior to her high tech positions, she worked at Far West Laboratory for Educational R&D;, where she conducted statistical research and surveys.

World at Work (formerly American Compensation Association) has designated Ms. Thompson as a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP). She holds an MA in organization studies, an MLA in liberal arts, and a BA in education. She is a member of the Council of Business Advisors, World at Work, Northern California Human Resources Association, and Women in Consulting. She also serves on the Board of Music at Kohl Mansion, the premier Bay Area chamber music venue, which also brings live classical music into Bay Area K-12 schools.
